How do I resolve my msn problem?

My acer pc is running on Vista and eventhough I have the latest version of msn everytime I try to change my picture or font in msn it stops responding. It is very frustrating as I use msn a lot. Can anyone help? Or is Vista just a crappy operating system?How do I resolve my msn problem?

You mean windows live messenger? It's messenger...which is made by microsoft and is also in kahoots with IE (very unsecure and unreliable).

I recently found adware in my messenger folders. It's always been blippy on every pc i have used. If you don't have the newest version I would recommend updating it at least.
